SJDC stands for the contemporary, and the culturally adventurous. Sitting at the cutting edge of dance and performance the company’s audience tend to be the sort of people who are making a difference in our multi cultural world. They are decision makers who are building the new community, often involved in education, new media savvy and with high disposable incomes.
Each year, SJDC reaches an audience of over 10,000 at both formal theatre performances and in outdoor and site specific work.

Trusts and Foundations
We have been fortunate to have the support of a number of trusts and foundations, covering many areas of our work from education, to artists' development to the growth of Shobana Jeyasingh's choreographic practice.
Areas of work that we seek support for include *commissioning work from the highest profile collaborators in music, design and the moving image, *support for touring especially in the UK, and *educational and outreach work across all ages and ranges of ability. *Trust and foundations can also support our innovative dancers' development programmes.
