The SJDC education and outreach programme has been going from strength to strength!

This summer we ran an after-school club in Colliers Wood for 15 7-9 year olds. This autumn is also busy with our dancers going to run workshops in local schools across London and the South East, and the whole company taking part in our second Dancer Development Programme, hosted by Laban, for aspiring professional dancers.

20th October 11am SJDC Masterclass

An opportunity for professional and advanced level dancers to take part in a company class and learn current repertory with the company dancers.

22-25 Oct Dancer Development Programme

Laban. Creekside, London SE8 3DZ

25 young dancers from Northern School of Contemporary Dance and Laban have been chosen to take part in this intensive programme designed to introduce the specific cultural skills required to perform SJDC repertory and potentially become future SJDC dancers

This annual event is only open to vocational dance students. Auditions are held during the summer.
