Professional Development and Mentoring

Embedded within the project was a 3 tiered artist-led mentoring and professional development process which aimed to address the gaps dance artists encounter during the transitional points in their careers, whilst nurturing dialogue between 3 generations of dance artists.

The mentoring provided a unique opportunity for peer-led reflection throughout the process and insight into SJ's process and methodologies

It supported dancers to develop Leadership and Mentoring skills, enriched their understanding of a creative process and developed their performance, technical and teaching skills.
