Archana's initial dance training was in bharatanatyam, from the age of six years old. She went on to study Contemporary dance graduating with a BA (hons) from London Contemporary Dance School in 2008. She has performed across the UK and in Vittoria, Spain, and Malta. The choreographers she has worked with include Kim Brandstrup, Margaret Shawood, Mayuri Boonham, Nina Rajarani and Subathra Subramanian, as well as Akademi and the children's theatre company Theatre Hullaballoo.
This year Archana choreographed, and danced in, a work for three dancers 'The Line of Desire' as part of Resolution! 2010 at the Place.
