Audition Notice

Shobana Jeyasingh Dance is a contemporary dance company which, in 2013, will be celebrating its 25th anniversary year. Over a three year period (2012-15), we have a number of exciting tours and dance events planned nationally and internationally to celebrate and mark this important landmark in our history. We are currently recruiting dancers for this on-going programme of work, with rehearsals beginning in August 2012.

Shobana is looking for dancers with at least three years of professional experience and excellent stagecraft. You will need to have a strong technique, enjoy a collaborative and creative approach in the studio and an inquiring mind. Knowledge of Indian classical dance would be an advantage.
